My husband and I both attended the Carry Concealed class taught by Patrick Stevenson on August 23rd 2014. We would highly recommend this class to anyone, whether or not you intend to actually carry a gun.
Pat was organized, personable, interesting and very informative. The class covered safety aspects of owning and or carrying a gun, legal statutes, video instruction and real life examples. Not only was the information given in a manner that held our attention, but the long history of law enforcement that Pat has really contributed to the depth of the class. Reality has a way of being different than a staged situation and Pat was very good about discussing different scenarios. Safety was always emphasized first and foremost, both on and off of the range.
The actual shooting range was well maintained, free of distractions, and set up to safely handle several shooters at once. Again, strict discipline and safety were the primary objectives. Pat made it a comfortable setting without pressure during the actual qualification shooting.
We ranch and have been around and used firearms all our lives. But this class added several dimensions to our knowledge that we feel is necessary. We had researched several concealed carry classes and instructors, and were very glad that we chose this one taught by Pat

This course provided in-depth education on concealed carry safety, laws, and ethical concerns. Mr. Stevenson gave insightful considerations without bias, and allowed students to debate possible outcomes. All information delivered was well organized and purpuseful. I would highly recommend Mr. Stevenson's course to anyone who may be considering a concealed carry permit.

Patrick Stevenson's instruction for concealed carry is a must for anyone who owns, or plans to own a handgun. The course was loaded with useful information from statutes and regulations to basic handgun safety. Patrick has years of experience and utilizes it to help his students understand how to make good, safe decisions.
Above all of this, Patrick has a genuine care for his students which is evident for anyone who has taken his course. For many of us, Patrick may be the only instruction we will ever receive on when to use, or not to use a handgun for self-defense. I wouldn't recommend anyone else as an instructor for this class. Pat did an excellent job of keeping everyone's attention and keeping everyone on track. Every attendee qualified first time through with no problems. I just cannot brag on Pat and his method of teaching enough. It was excellent! I wish my instructor would have been half as good in keeping our attention.

I was unsure about what to expect in a conceal and carry class. When I attended the class I was impressed with how much I learned in a very comfortable environment. (Dec. 2015) Patrick is very professional (which I expected), extremely concerned about your safety when handling and carrying a firearm (also expected). But what I didn't expect was his personal integrity shown in many ways during this whole process.
